OUR MISSION
The ‘JSLiMaLa’ is Religious Organization based on the teachings and lifestyle of Lord Buddha. Therefore, the Organization shall work for the Spiritual Empowerment and Advancement of the community members in Greater Akron in the State of Ohio. More specifically, it’ll help to create opportunities and facilitate spiritual growth for Peaceful Co-existence based on the principles of Buddhism.
OUR VISION
The ‘JSLiMaLa’ envisages that the belief of a Buddhist is that the human life is one of suffering, and that meditation, spiritual and physical labor, and good behavior are the ways to achieve enlightenment, or Nirvana. Hence, inner growth with understanding the eight-fold paths of Buddhism shall lead to Global Peace and Harmony in inter and intra-communities paving a way for universal brotherhood.
Legal Status
AKRON JHATSHON SHERDRUB LING MANI LHAKHANG (JSLIMALA) is a tax-exempt charitable organization under 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue code.Jslimala fulfilled all the requirements and regulations set forth by US Department of treasury and got tax-exempt status on 01/07/2024.Now the donors can donate confidently to this non-profit organization and all donations made to this organization are tax-deductible.
